If you're a werewolf, I think that makes you digitigrade?
Anyways, I think I know what you mean. Wolf paws have a smaller surface area than the flatter feet of a human, and the bend of your legs is entirely different.
I know this may sound odd, but maybe swimming would help? Just to get used to the "pistons and pivots" so to speak, while building your strength. I don't mean in deep water by the way, but more like one of those walk-in pools they have around.
Obviously it's winter, so the idea probably isn't appealing, but there has to be indoor pools somewhere.

That's right though, with the extra height. I think at least that much I'm used to, though.

What in particular is giving you trouble when you walk? Do you stumble, or do you just feel too slow?
<songbird>
Both the stumbling and feeling too slow. Sort of like they're both too big and small at the same time, if that makes sense?
