Anyways, I think I know what you mean. Wolf paws have a smaller surface area than the flatter feet of a human, and the bend of your legs is entirely different.
I know this may sound odd, but maybe swimming would help? Just to get used to the "pistons and pivots" so to speak, while building your strength. I don't mean in deep water by the way, but more like one of those walk-in pools they have around.
Obviously it's winter, so the idea probably isn't appealing, but there has to be indoor pools somewhere.
